Om. With the seed sound *Shreem*, I bow to the great Goddess Lakshmi, giver of abundance and grace.

About this mantra

Shreem is the bija (seed) syllable of Goddess Lakshmi. The mantra invites abundance in every sense — wealth, beauty, harmony at home and generosity of spirit.

How to chant: light a ghee lamp, keep the space clean and chant on a lotus-seed (kamal gatta) or crystal mala, especially on Fridays and during Diwali.
