ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् । उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात् ॥

Meaning
We worship the three-eyed Lord who is fragrant and who nourishes all beings. As the ripe cucumber is freed from its vine, may He free us from death, and not from immortality.
About this mantra
Known as the great death-conquering mantra, this verse appears in the Rig Veda (7.59.12) and the Yajur Veda. It is chanted for healing, for protection in times of illness and for freedom from fear.
How to chant: chant with a steady rhythm on a rudraksha mala. Many families recite it for a loved one who is unwell, or on Mondays, the day associated with Shiva.
