About this mantra
The Maha Mantra (great mantra) of sixteen names appears in the Kali-Santarana Upanishad, which recommends it as the simplest path for this age. It was popularised by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
How to chant: chant clearly and listen to each name, either softly on tulsi beads (japa) or aloud in a group (kirtan).
