Mercury Retrograde for Beginners

Mercury appears to move backwards in the sky about three times a year for roughly three weeks. In astrology, Mercury rules communication, travel and technology, so these periods are associated with misunderstandings, delays and glitches.

Rather than fearing a retrograde, use it for the "re" words: review, revise, reconnect and rest. It is a good time to finish old projects, back up your devices and double-check contracts before you sign.

Look at which house Mercury is moving through in your own chart to see which part of life is asking for a second look. Our astrologers can point this out in a short consultation.
